There is a long running inside joke regarding people being held hostage (having started when we held my mom hostage right after Alana was born) and pics floating around of people with the newspaper.....here are some I received while in NYC. Grandma tried to ransom Alana for Murphles. Thankfully, we won out & got our baby back without the dog!

...just for the record - consider yourselves lucky this time... it was only a warning!!! You only sent enough clothes for the weekend... All kidding aside.... (hmmm!) We had a great time with Alana! She was an angel!
